MATHEMATICAL PREACHER LADY

don’t understand me

no numeral of quantity
preacher lady looking
at accusations in a book
saying infinity is proof
of a mathematical sacrifice
that saved humanity
if only we could get back
to three and then zero
says quantum physics
is why we have clocks
and space shuttles
slipping through cracks
in the fabrics of blankets
claims blankets are white
masses, says I’m mass
the tree is mass, birds
are mass and a mass
is a spot that breaks
into a speck so small
my car is invisible to god
claims i don’t pray right
because i do it with my
hands and my speech
is imperfect, can’t talk
to god with a slur or slang
says i need to be prized
and perfect like a precious
moment figurine, demands
i stop calling him home boy
he’s not your boy, throws
a piece paper at me with
nothing on it but a squiggle
in the middle of a circle,
claims it represents life
and who i used to be
when i had a brain
and understood counting
was invented for more
than money, need to crunch
the numbers to understand
my sister is the same as me
though she died in a hospital,
tells me i’m better than nobody
but I act like a stranger hiding
my divinity code under a hat

Dear Lyon, I wonder if that is you in the photo. Feel free to add a link to youtube if you perform it somewhere. Because of the absence of breaks between stanzas I found it hard to imagine it being read, but I very much enjoyed the flow of language and ideas.

In certain circumstances
electrons communicate with each other
regardless of the distance between them

In certain circumstances
people are able to read each other's minds
Regardless of where they are or when they lived

Universe as a seamless web
where time and space exist simultaneously
and every portion is infinitely interconnected

Me and you that know each other fully
even though we have never met

Brain as a hologram that selects frequencies
mathematically transforming them into
perceptions,
feelings,
worries

People as receivers
floating through the Maya
extracting
from this sea
impressions
of their lives

God and Science Poem

God and Science

God is spirit. Science is science.
Never the two shall meet.
It is believed this view is complete:
there's no common ground;
God cannot in a test tube be found.

I beg to differ.
God’s cosmic power is ever with science
in alliance.
It informs and inspires the mind of the scientist
even as it does the artist,
and yes, even the atheist.

But where's the proof - where the evidence?
the anti-God factions cry.
Poor souls, their very bodies are the
temples of the Most High.
All of vast nature is the outer house of infinite spirit,
the two are one and can never be split.

As time rolls on, as the centuries pass,
science will reflect as in a glass
more and more the evidence of a supreme God.
The veil between the seen and unseen
already begins to shred
as more and more proof is revealed
of the ongoing life of the so-called dead.
