Show Me the Way

Here I am today
Father, Show Me the Way
May Your Light shine through me
So lost souls who are blind may see
Use me Father as You will
An empty cup for You to fill
Cleanse my mind, body, spirit and soul
Wash me clean and make me whole
Forgive me for the sins I’ve done
Grace me with mercy, Oh Holy One
Sometimes I feel pain and sorrow
I worry about troubles of tomorrow
I cry from lack of understanding
Sometimes I’m impatient and demanding
Through it all Father I cling to You
Because I know Your love is true
Here I am Father, still trusting Thee
To fulfill the promises You made to me
Sometimes I cry when I feel You within
You are the Source upon which my life depends
I ask You for wisdom and You teach me to love
I love You Father more than my mind can conceive of
My life is an open book to You
Write on my heart what You will have me do
I’m Your willing servant, I’m ready to obey
Here I am Father, Show Me the Way

A Light Shining Bright

Heavenly Father, I’m Your child
I strive to live my life to make You proud
I tell the world that You are real
The greatest love one can feel
Renew my mind, cleanse me Lord
Make my heart pure and beautiful
Made in Your image You created me
Teach me wisdom, love, and loyalty
Here’s my hand, it’s Yours to hold
Mind, body, spirit and soul Yours to control
I am Your vessel, Yours to use
God, please make my heart pure and beautiful
You’ve walked with me my whole life through
I surrendered and dedicated my life to You
I worship and praise You day and night
Thank You Father for Your brilliant light
When you glance at the world and You gaze at me
I pray You smile at what You see
Sometimes I dance and sing, sometimes I cry
Sometimes I don’t even know the reasons why
But I know for sure it’s because of You
It’s Your Spirit in me that’s shining through
I don’t worry about tomorrow, I live for today
I put my trust in Jesus He is the way
I’m learning to treasure each day as if it’s my last
Forgive me for the mistakes I made in the past
I thank You God for Your amazing grace
And for the wind that blows kisses upon my face
I pray that I have done the things you asked of me
I’ve helped lost souls find heaven and eternity
I’m leaving Your word behind of spiritual insight
